- Email delivery of daily digests to subscribers
- API access for programmatic data retrieval (paid plans)
3. User Accounts & Subscriptions
Free tier: Access to the daily briefing and email subscription requires only a valid email address. No payment information is required.
Paid plans: Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans require payment. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of your billing period.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or databases
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service beyond the API limits of your plan
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense our content or data without written permission

5. Intellectual Property
Our content: The Docketbird name, logo, website design, and AI-generated summaries are our intellectual property. You may quote or reference our summaries with attribution.
Government data: The underlying government documents, bills, and regulatory filings that Docketbird monitors are public domain. Our value-add is in the monitoring, summarization, categorization, and delivery — not in the source material itself.
Your data: You retain ownership of any data you provide to us (email address, preferences, etc.).
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- Not legal advice. Docketbird provides policy intelligence summaries, not legal advice. Our summaries are AI-generated and may contain errors. Always consult original source documents and qualified professionals for decisions affecting your business or legal obligations.
- Accuracy. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that our summaries, categorizations, or impact assessments are complete, current, or error-free.
- Availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Docketbird and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
