Frequently Asked Questions
What is Docketbird?

Docketbird is an autonomous AI policy intelligence platform. We monitor congressional legislation, Federal Register filings, executive orders, and agency actions related to artificial intelligence, then deliver structured daily briefings so you can stay informed without reading thousands of pages of government documents.

How much does it cost?

The daily briefing is free — forever. Paid plans start at $29/mo for Pro (real-time alerts, custom tracking, API access), $99/mo for Teams (shared dashboards, collaboration), and custom Enterprise pricing from $499/mo. See our pricing page for full details.

What sources do you monitor?

We currently monitor Congress.gov for federal legislation (bills, resolutions, committee reports) and the Federal Register for proposed rules, final rules, notices, and executive orders. We continuously expand our source coverage.

Is the information accurate?

Our summaries are AI-generated from official government sources. While we strive for accuracy, summaries may occasionally contain errors or miss nuance. We always link to original source documents so you can verify. Docketbird is an intelligence tool, not a substitute for legal counsel.

How do I unsubscribe from the email digest?

Every email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it, and you'll be removed from the distribution list within 24 hours. You can also email us at hello@docketbird.com to request removal.

Do you have an API?

Yes. API access is available on Pro plans and above. The API provides structured JSON access to digests, individual policy items, search, and historical data. Documentation is available after signing up for a Pro plan.

Is Docketbird politically biased?

No. We are a neutral monitoring platform. Our summaries report what is happening in AI policy without advocacy, editorial spin, or political positioning. We categorize by document type and impact scope, not by political party or ideology.

Can I use Docketbird data in my research or publications?

Yes, with attribution. The underlying government documents are public domain. Our AI-generated summaries and categorizations may be quoted or referenced with proper attribution to Docketbird. For bulk data licensing, contact sales@docketbird.com.
